Liderazgo de mujeres en acción climática y agrobiodiversidad en la Guajira y los páramos de Chingaza y Sumapaz

El programa de apoyo para aumentar la ambición climática en el uso de la tierra y la agricultura a través de NDC y planes nacionales de adaptación (SCALA) de la Iniciativa Climática Internacional (IKI) publicó dos videos que reflejan resultados clave en temas de género. A través de dos iniciativas ha contribuido al fortalecimiento del rol y liderazgo de las mujeres y sus comunidades locales en la acción climática y la agrobiodiversidad en dos territorios estratégicos del país: la región de La Guajira y los páramos de Chingaza y Sumapaz.

H2-diplo Colombia present internationally

During the month of September 2024, the LAC H2 Summit was held in Cartagena, with the participation of 500 key regional and international stakeholders of the hydrogen ecosystem. It was organized by LAC Clean Hydrogen Action and the Ministry of Mines and Energy with the support of the GIZ programmes H2Uppp (International Market Ramp-Up) and H2-diplo Decarbonization Diplomacy. In addition, also in September, the H2-diplo Colombia programme travelled to Berlin and Hamburg with representatives from the public sector and academia to learn about the progress of PtX technologies in Germany. 

Creating social fabric through Just Energy Transition

Between September 11 and 12, 2024, the LAC H2 Summit Cartagena 2024 was held. The main objective of this important event was to promote business development in the hydrogen sector, bringing together the main players of the global industry. The meeting sought to take advantage of the great potential of Latin America and the Caribbean in this field.
