IKI Small Grants Training Programme on Presentation Skills

Dear IKI Small Grants community,

Starting in July 2023, the IKI Small Grants Team is delighted to deliver a series of webinars that will help you and your team build effective presentation skills! You will receive actionable advice on how to present your organisation and/or your project to international donors, learn about different presentation formats and connect with other IKI Small Grants projects in a peer-to-peer learning environment. The acquired skills can also help you to reach more people and can be added as crucial assets to your fundraising repertoire!

 When will the webinars take place?

When will the webinars take place? 

The webinars will take place between July 2023 and December 2023.

Each webinar will be held twice with two identical sessions. Please choose the time zone that fits the best for you.

What are the webinars about?

The webinars will include general information on presentation skills as well as various specific presentation formats, including:

Short project presentation

Pecha Kucha

Elevator Pitch

Extensive project presentation with a thematic focus

Interview

In each session, we will present a new format and ask for a couple of volunteers to prepare a presentation in this format for the next session. Since we would like to make the webinars as interactive as possible, we would like each participating organisation to present their organisation or project  at least once. So please be prepared to invest some time between the session – but we assure you – you will be able to benefit from this time investment not just for the training but on several occasions

The sessions will be held in English. In addition, our meeting system allows to choose between various automatically generated subtitles.

When it is your turn to present, we would ask you to present in English., Please do not worry or hesitate if your English is perfect. Native English is not required.

The participation in our IKI Small Grants webinars is free of charge.
