Policy Brief: Analysis of different scenarios for Colombia’s participation in Article 6 Mechanisms

The analysis developed with the Green Economy Model (GEM) evaluates different scenarios of Colombia’s participation in the A6, showing the reinvestment potential of the income generated by the International Transfer of Mitigation Results (ITMO).

The results show that this mechanism can generate economic benefits, green job creation and additional emission reductions, contributing to the achievement of the country’s climate goals. The full analysis is available at:
