Socialization of results and lessons learned from the consultancies developed with the support of the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWE), which allow the strengthening of energy communities in the country.
The Ministry of Mines and Energy, in partnership with the IKI Interface project, an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWE), has launched a series of webinars entitled “Advancing the Just Energy Transition in Colombia”. This initiative seeks to be a key space for dialogue and learning on strengthening energy communities in the country.
From August 6 to 27, these virtual meetings will bring together experts and key players in the sector to share the most significant advances and lessons learned on the road to a more sustainable and equitable energy model.
The webinar series will address crucial topics for the consolidation of these community projects. Among the main topics to be discussed are key learnings that are driving the transformation of the sector and proven strategies to strengthen energy communities, from structuring to operation.
In addition, an important space will be dedicated to the financial instruments that facilitate the deployment and expansion of these initiatives, which are considered vital for the sustainability of the projects and the autonomy of the communities. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about success stories and best practices that offer tangible examples of how collaboration between government, the private sector and civil society can generate lasting energy solutions.
The participation of the IKI Interface project underscores the global importance of this agenda.
