Biodiversity
The International Climate Initiative (IKI) supports partner countries in the conservation of biodiversity, the expansion and connection of protected areas, sustainable use, and the reduction of ecosystem degradation and fragmentation. The IKI Strategy for 2030 defines three priority areas of action in biodiversity:
- Strengthening the National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs)
- Habitat protection and restoration
- Mainstreaming biodiversity
