Carbon Sinks
The International Climate Initiative (IKI) supports partner countries in implementing measures for forest and landscape restoration and in the development of deforestation-free supply chains. The IKI Strategy for 2030 defines three priority areas of action in carbon sinks:
- Strengthening nature-based climate action
- Ending deforestation and land use changes
- Forest landscape restoration
- Protecting peatlands
