Climate change and the loss of animal and plant species affect our daily lives. Scientific reports assure that the impact will be even more severe in the future. The increase in extreme weather events – hazards added to the vulnerability of communities, puts people’s wellbeing and integrity at risk. Colombia is one of the countries most vulnerable to the effects of climate change. That is why it is important to work, from the territories, in the construction of development alternatives that contemplate an alliance with nature to increase adaptation and response to climate threats.
