In March 2025, 100 scholarships for Colombia were launched with the support of the German Embassy, GIZ Colombia and the IFC (International Finance Corporation). At the end of the year, two trainings started with professionals who will be agents of change in their organizations and the sector to promote the industry. The next calls will open in 2026. The global program includes Brazil, Kenya, South Africa, Indonesia and Vietnam.
The main objective of the Green Banking project is to improve the skills and capabilities of professionals and institutions to finance Renewable Energy (RE), Energy Efficiency (EE), Green Hydrogen and storage projects.

Fellows will acquire specific knowledge in RE and EE technologies and projects, appropriate risk assessment and mitigation schemes. The development of new private sector financing instruments for climate change mitigation will be encouraged.
