Through the #ClimateTalk format, the German Embassy in Colombia promotes conversations with various sectors on important issues for the protection of the climate and the environment; framework in which on August 14th the conversation focused on the “Amazon under threat, challenges and opportunities for regional governance” organized by the Foundation for Conservation and Sustainable Development (FCDS), the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime (GITOC), the Alberto Lleras Camargo School of Government, and the German Embassy in Colombia.
The space was attended by a diversity of actors from academia, civil society and government entities. It was developed through two panels; one on illicit economies and governance and the other on institutional challenges.
