In the framework of the First Climate and Just Energy Transition Partnership Week, the Climate and Biodiversity Finance and Sustainable and Resilient Urban Development groups met.

On June 3rd, the third meeting of this year’s climate and biodiversity financing group was held, with the participation of the National Planning Department, – DNP the German Embassy in Colombia, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the IKI Interface project implemented by GIZ. Strategies were established for future financing to strengthen the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) and participation in events such as the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development in Seville was agreed upon, in which DNP’s attendance was supported.

On June 4th, the second meeting of the Sustainable and Resilient Urban Development group was held, with the participation of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Housing, City and Territory, the BMZ, the German Embassy in Colombia and the ProMOVIS project implemented by GIZ. During this space, priorities were established on the strengthening of decentralized cooperation, energy transition in transport, as well as the exchange of knowledge and experiences in events such as Conversápolis and the International Transport Week.
