Colombia’s SDG Multi-Stakeholder Platform has taken a significant step forward in its commitment to transparency and coordination. It now has its own microsite within the SINERGIA system of the National Planning Department, where anyone can find out who is part of it, what it does and how to join this initiative that brings together the government, academia, the private sector, civil society and international organizations to accelerate the 2030 Agenda in the country.
A platform with concrete results
The platform has already accumulated a record of achievements: 10 active members, 4 partnerships with donor agencies in the last year, 7 participations in international events during 2025, including the UN High Level Political Forum and the ECLAC Forum. This reflects the dynamism of a platform that is committed to real articulation among diverse actors.
How to participate?
Public, private, academic or civil society organizations interested in contributing to the 2030 Agenda can contact the Technical Secretariat of the SDG Colombia Commission at stcomisionods@dnp.gov.co or visit the “Let’s Collaborate” section of the microsite to learn how to get involved.
The development was carried out by the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) promoted by the German Development Cooperation – GIZ with funding from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN), within the framework of the International Climate Initiative (IKI).
